I and Peter have started working on our own FreeDOS distro. If you don't know what FreeDOS is, go to http://www.freedos.org first, and then read the following Q & A:
Q: Why are you making this new distro?
A: I've tried several of the official FreeDOS distros, but I don't think they are as good as they could be.
Q: What are your goals?
A: I want to make a small, but still useful FreeDOS variant. It should be flexible and easy to install/use.
Q: Why the name YPN/FreeDOS?
A: Hmm... 1) I like the name GNU/Linux, and 2) I don't think Robert/FreeDOS sounds very good.
Q: What are you doing now?
A: I'm going to write an installation program, write some small programs myself, and collect various free software from the internet.
Q: Can I join.
A: Yup.
Q: What can I do?
A: Depends on, if you're a good C programmer, you can write installation program/misc. small programs for it. If you're no good programmer, you can get a bunch of programs to write description files for. Maybe some of the programs will have multi language support, so we may need some translators.
Q: How do I join?
A: Tell me in this forum what you want to do
Q: Do you guys need a logo?
A: NO
Q: Do you want a flash intro?
A: HELL NO
Q: Does YPN/FreeDOS have a home page?
A: Not yet. If the project is still alive in a week, I'll create one

Fine Do a nice little page (not too much graphics, please), with a PHP script or something for posting news. I just have one little question, where should we put the web site? All project files may take up to 5 or 10 MB.

You got an e-mail address from Telia, right? If not, get to their site and make one. You can make up to five, and each account is also a web space of 10mb. Like me, my login name for one of my e-mail addresses is u31416097 and the webspace is located at w1.314.telia.com/~u31416097/ . So that's where we'll have it.
Of course, I don't like using much graphics... YPN even has more graphics than I normally use

If we have it on my Telia account, only I can post stuff (they don't allow any server-side scripting). I suggest we put it somewhere where other project members can post news and upload files, like my own server (or maybe svaras server). Maybe we can find a free host for this.
About the graphics... Good boy!
