I'm sometimes at openprojects, and today I found out you can send messages to offline users I've missed that feature all the time at chatjunkies...
So...I registered #ypn there So, what to do now?
If you think I'm an idiot and believe I'm trying to take over YPN, tell me, and I'll use that neat little command: "/msg chanserv drop" (kills the channel).
If you want to use that channel, just connect to irc.openprojects.net and join #ypn
Like I said, the only reason I created this channel is because of the features on openprojects (and to be able to give nice guys like Twintop and SilentStrike op, lol). If anyone else (ermm.. not ANYONE else) wants to be the owner instead of me, it's ok. I just want the features of openprojects

Sounds good .
I'd simply like to be on a server that has a larger population of coders. The only other channels at chatjunkies that talk about coding are #java and #coders, and they are usually more empty than ypr.

Robert no one thinks your trying to take over YPN dude. But why have half the population here and half there. Why not just move everyone to #YPN openprojects.

If the majority of the active members and some of the leaders want to move, of course we do everything we can to inform new people about the move.
johny-5, I know you wanted us to move to openprojects before, but at that time I hadn't discovered many of the cool features they have there
And SilentStrike, I know there is alot of coders on openprojects, I'm usually in like 8 channels when I'm there. I can recommend channels like #c, #assembler and #osdev over there. You can get answers on most programming questions over there.
Now I'm waiting for fabs and Peter to say what they think (maybe also svara, I don't know when he comes back).

Openprojects is an excellent server. And yes I recommand channels, #Linux #C #C++ #Assembly #Redhat and ofcourse #YPN

We're moving later. Sasquatch development takes the admins' time now - don't take things too hasty. We were going to move anyhow.

ok , now all we are waiting for is that ^pixel removes his bot from the channel ... then we can take over the channel and completely move to openprojects .
