General YPN >> What's up?

I guess we're all pretty busy nowadays (I've got a bunch of exams, essays etc the following weeks too) but each time I get a chance to check the channel -- which is of course pretty seldom, as my school blocks the irc port -- I see quite a lot of people hanging around.

Couldn't you try to post on the forum from time to time?

I promise to be ultra-active as soon as the shittiest period of school is over. Projects section, own forum and what not is coming up.

hm ....
Peter is not there, fabs is not there, and svara also only gets a live rarely
there _are_ many ppls in the room, yes, but dead. rarely there's chat, chats about programming are even more rare. To be honest, I'm feeling very "lonely" when I'm in the chat, so I always go to places such as #debian or irc.gnome.org #gimp #gtk+ #gnome, because there I can talk about programming (almost everything of programming), and ppls always chat. Let's change our room too and make it a bit more active too

But that's because you live in a timezone far away from most other users... Usually, when i get home from school I see you for half an hour but then you go to bed... And on weekends, nobody seems interested in chatting... Dunno why

ok, that's the case with you and peter, but not with fabs
anyways, I think that the channel is slowly turning into a silent place

hm, I still believe it's just a period of silence, and it's going to end soon.. so watch out for my BIG MOUTH.

hehe, I hope so =)
from Dec. 15th fabs and I will have christmas vacation (for about 1 month), and I will be in the channel around a bit more, too (yes, it is possible to be more active than now, hard tho).
But I think I will be very busy, since I've got my 1st project member (for KaGezProduction), it is sacah =), and I wanted to get the PHP engine finished, an maybe also the Image-viewer.
That's a rough scedule for me, and I won't go anywhere in my vacation, so I'll be there most of the time (unless I'm playing UT on windows )

Lol, okay. I'll have vacation from the 18:th or 19:th and for about a month on. I'll do the projects section and the forum during that time.

I have other projects going on as well; my personal website, my band's website, the MUNGO website (Swedish maths site I'm going to do with Robert) and of course a couple of programs that I'm working on.

hey!
sorry I haven't been around recently but after having scandisked up a couple of tests etc. I went with Sphair's advice. He said I should take a break from computers for a while just to focus more on school. I actually mananged to stay away from computers for over a week.
I just finished off the last test an hour ago so I'll be back in the chan very soon.
See ya guys tonight

anyways, it's good to see you back ! =)

Who's Sphair?
Posted by fabs on 07:01:00 12-12-2001
Sphair is the guy from clanlib.org. I sometimes hand out #clanlib, too, ya know
He's 26 and has been a programmer since he was 10, so he's been through some stuff That's also why I trusted his advice on this.
