Where can I get a Visual Basic compiler (I mean the program)? Such as VB 5 or 6.
I'm now working with VB 3.0 and it's too old so I'm searching for a new one

Go to your local software dealer and buy a copy. Or order one online.

I found Visual Basic 4 for Win95 for download on the net somewhere. If you were in the US there are several stores that I know who carry it. Not to mention you'll be shelling out big bucks for it. I got my VB6 Prof for Christmas so I didn't spend a thing.

Hehe, i found a better way:
just download it via a p2p program, like WinMX, Gnotella or KaZaa

Yes. But that's illegal .

I actually saw another compiler that was a freeware download. It was like 7 or 12 megs I can't remember. I'll try and find it.

Microsoft has a Free VB compiler, very cut down, but its at their web site, sont ask me where, I cant mem its name either, I got VB6 ~4 years ago, and it was only $90 then, and thats Australian dollars. So you should be able to get a Student copy fairly cheap in US.
