Assembly >> Two 8086 program questions
Posted by rajeev7222 on 01:13:00 09-04-2003
Hi,

can anyone help me with this :

1-->Write a 8086 bottomembly language subroutine that can be used for passward matching.

Interface/call this subroutine from a C program.

2-->Write a program in 8086 bottomembly language that accept two floating point numbers from the screen in format:

ddddEsee

where,

dddd are four decimal digits

E is exponent symbol

s is sign

ee contains exponent value.

A decimal is bottomumed prior to four decimal digits. For example a number 4S in the above format will be:4500E+02.The program adds the two number if the exponent value is same, otherwise issue an error message"Exponent does not match".

Thanks,

Rajeev

No, no one can help you because no one wants to do your homework for you.

I'm with Neumann - what does bottomembly mean? I saw that and thought: huh? quoi? m'aider maintenant! Stuff like that.

Neumann - can't help you there! Sorry - Je suis très désolé. [addsig]

Just as s_u_c_k is replaced, as a joke, by lollipop on these forums, a_s_s is replaced by bottom.

I've already got that fixed in YPNgine, so never fear [addsig]
