No, the OpenGL fractal (in the C/C++ Section) I've submitted isn't supposed to run @ 2-3FPS. If it does, maybe you haven't setup you vid card properly or something (here it runs with about 60FPS min, and 170FPS max) you should be able to get even more FPS out of it if you use the 3rd texture type (mipmapped texture), to use them, start the program and press 'f' 2 times

okay I'll test it. I tried it on my laptop where it's quite possible that the settings aren't perfect .

hehe... maybe fabs should also try it and give me feedback about how it worked... cuz, I'm testing that thing with 1GHz, so... anyways, if it runs slow also on other comps, just give me a not. I wanted to make a vertex-array + display-list version anyways (which will lead to _big_ speedups) .... so, if it runs slow on your comp (plz check if your vid card is OpenGL compatible first ) just give me a note =)
