I'm _very_ interested in your programs, but I can't run a single program you write, because they are all VB and DX, and I'm on linux. Do you also have a program in C/C++ with OpenGL laying around or something? Cuz, I really want to see one of your programms running, because all titles sound very good.
If you don't have any laying around I'd have to get my ass in windows, and I'm not really sure if my windows still runs :/

dxprog: I'll install VB and try your progs...

Btw, I think there will be a bigger audience for this kind of programs later on, if more users are active (a majority of our members seem to be vb programmers, but they seldom return).

So dont despair, just keep up the good work =)

looks like I have to re-install windows for that :/
or maybe wine will help me ouy... but only _maybe_ .... cuz, Wine doesn't understand too much of DX

Sorry. I didn't notice the board until now. I'm sorry to say that I don't know much C. I will check on the Eat link. I might be able to recreate the game with C++ with Windows API, but you're still stuck with windows.

hm, that'd be _great_
then I could use WINE to get your progs to run

programm causes an erron,
cant run.
wheres the code?
Posted by dxprog on 14:14:00 02-10-2002
IbYdl: What kind of error? I will look into it and I'll see about getting you the code.
KaGez: I really never think about the slashes because IE automaticaly changes them. I'll get it fixed. Thanks.

hehe, np
dxprog: maybe I could try to port your code to OpenGL
I just have to read a little on DX, and it should work, depending on what the code exactly uses
I'll see what I can do, cuz many (actually most) of us are on linux. I could try to port them to OpenGL, so they work in Linux, and then give them to you if you like... just an idea, hafta look at the code first
