ok heh well i wanted to start to learn c or c++ i have very little programming knowldeg like i know html and basic but that not like "hard" so i was just wondering were you guys found the sites that explain it all to you so you understand it well sorry for the back grammer peace

Well, I actually buy books, sometimes a good book is just better than learning by spending half of your time searching the net.
I think www.programmingtutorials.com has good stuffm though.
If you want to do C programming in Linux, and you have a little Linux expirrience already, I really recommend the book 'Linux programming in C'.
Btw, what's your native language?
Some of us speak german, hungarian and swedish, too.

Well, like fsvara said, books are very good but there are also some good free tutorials out there. A lot of people have told me that they started learning at www.cprogramming.com . I'd say you check out those tutorials for a start.
I'll be shortly writing a c/c++-row myself

ya ok heh i ordered a book off of amazon it should be coming pretty quick here well my native langauge is english (thats why my spelling and grammar are so bad) but i also know a little latin i took the entry lvl course for that class but ya, back on the subject i just got my a+ cert for pc reapair and would like to now learn how to programm well thats were im coming from.... thanks for the help ill be around in the message boards and if i can help out the site in any ways i can mannage let me know
