I was wondering, is anybody interested in programming some pattern match/ string-manipulation functions in c? I was hoping to develop functions equaly good as the perl ones for example, split, join etc.

I am not the best c++ programmer, but I could try to help. It does not sound that hard. I know a little bit of perl to, that might help. Email me.
