General YPN >> Shell Account...

Anyone know where I can get a free shell account that has no validation, and no limitations?

I guess there are none because shell-account have been used for various crack-attempts in the past. I also don't know why you'd want one since you can install linux today. There is no more need for remote-Unix imho.

I'll stick to what fabs said.
Anyways, there are free ones, but you need validation for those. For example SourceForge has shell accounts for every user registered.

searching on google, you'll find huge lists of shell account providers... but most of them are down, offer very restricted shells only or cost something...

maybe you somebody well online with linux (or any other *nix) and a good uptime? you could get a shell account that way...

... or install linux (or other *nix sys)

If I could get my Linux box to connect to the net, i'd give UNIX Shell Accounts, but I couldn't keep my PC on 24/7.
No limitations, pretty much, I could also install new software for Account users.

And, though it may seem like "snooping", but what is actually a safety procedure, would be to check the user's files often.

Thanks...

So you're going to do that, or you wish you could?

I think he won't do it, because he said "if I can get my linux connect to the internet", which seems to me like that he can't do so

Honestly, the only place you'll find a good (free) shell account is on one of your friend's *nix machines. Back before I actually installed a GNU/Linux distrib, I used ShellYeah ( http://www.shellyeah.org/ ). Their service is very limited, but it might be a good start. Still, I don't know why you would want a shell account when you can buy an i386 from a garage sale and run Linux on it.
