I'm currently working on some sasquatch logos, as svara mentioned them in the TODO file.
If you're interested you can look at the first one I made yesterday. All the logo I make will be put into
http://gnapsterj.hypermart.net/tuts/pics/ypn/
I will put the PNG files in there, as well as the original GIMP xcf files, so if you're interested...
If you look at them, and have some correction tips, you can either upload the modified xcf file somewhere, or tell me what isn't good. I'd appreciate it when you'd take the first option tho

Nice work on that logo! Can't wait to see the second one
Maybe you wanna try another foreground-color though... light blue maybe, neon, I mean. I don't. Just a suggestion, don't know if it'll look better

The 2nd one I though about was light one, as you said. Not really a blue foreground, but I thought of something like white. I'll just try to get a nice one up

be inspired from the ypn colors "which are, blue and white actually, maybe some dark red).
I mean, the logo has to fit into the design, too.

I don't think that a logo of a PHP engine must fit the design. Everybody who uses the engine will (most probably) also use his/her own design, so it should better fit the engine itself. But I'm making more than one logo, so you could choose then if you want. btw, added some new ones in the dir that's posted above.
