Lately I see that the messageboard is quite active, and the channel too. There are also many new submissions almost everyday. _But_, the code is only submitted and nobody looks at it. I think it's not "fair" to only chat in the chan, be a member of the YPN and don't rate anything. I don't say that you should rate _everything_, but you should at least rate something, even if you're not really interested in what it is. Maybe you will even be interested after looking at it and rated it.
It's just a thought, but I think that ratings shouldn't be forgotten. I try to rate as much as I can, but I also have school and hoework to do, and also code myself, so I can't rate _everything_. But I at least try to rate as much as possible. Please respect code of others, that is often _very_ good, even if the title is not that exciting.

yeah, i agree, but i must say that i am guilty myself, i could rate more
but often i just see something submitted, and it really doesn't interest me much so i just ignore it... but you're right, i will try to rate more
Especially nonama's links - I bet most of them had really cool info, but i didn't have the time/motivation to read through them all...

I left the laptop in school over the weekend so I can't test all those nice code snippets / programs (I'm doomed to sit in windows at home if I want to be able to surf - for a couple of days until I fix that fscking router).

I think with waiting for ppls to rate something we should make them rate. maybe they should get some reward if they rated properly they should get something. Don't ask me what, but I think that will make many ppls rate more than they do now...
