As this is an international site, I was wondering what some of our members thought of world politics: Bush, War on Terrorism, etc. No flamewars, please!

Well, given the situation...I think Bush is doing a descent job...there's only so much the american president [whether it be Bush, Gore, Nadar, or anyone] can do to crash land a "wrecked jumbo jet" as safely as possible.
In my mind, it is quite obvious that the "global power" is, gradually, leaving the United States...as the United States is now nolonger the "greatest nation on earth", [I think] it has a rather high crime rate for a civilized country [I'll have to look into that statistics on this sometime...], absolutely terrible school/education systems [Why is it that Americans have the hardest time learning English?], and is falling a bit behind in mainstream technology usage. Aside from this, there are also some enviromental and economic issues.

I think Bush is lame. There are no "WMD's," and yet we continue to kill hundreds of people a day. And remember, the war is supposedly over. I don't think we should ever have gone to Iraq.
