Heh, what do you think about upgrading your version of phpBB ?
Version 2.0 offers a lot more features, and you're running .. 1.2.1 (a 2 Years old version..)

It makes me feel old ... Well, Yowie is being developed, slowly of course, but anyway. Why do we need a new version of phpBB meanwhile? if there are good reasons, I'm not against it but I don't think it matters right now.

I think we could also let this phpBB look a bit cooler, but I think it's ok how it is for now

well, phpbb is known to be _buggy_... so we're not upgrading because all newer versions probably have more and more bugs... the bugs are security reisks in most cases.. and isn't 2.0 still BETA?

This message board does its purpose in my opinion. I'm not against upgrading, but I know that this would probably be done by the same people which are currently working on Yowie!. And I want them to finish _our own_ messageboard first

well, not exactly.. as far as i have seen, phpbb 2 comes with some nice eye candy... it's nice, but not really necessary... but may be worth a closer look

looks like it includes some senceless JS stuff too ... I don't know how phpBB is built up, cuz I have no interest in the sources of it, but I think that eye candy stuff and such will higly depend on the theme, as it will be in the next-generation sasquatch. I won't look into the source of phpBB anymore, no, _never_ again

Oh yes it is.
i have edit my profile
and now there is
a signatur at all
my massage.so
there is an new signatur over
my old signatur.
It´s look not good.
That is new:
-users can have an avater
-an better massage editor(font
color,underline etc.)
-you can make user grupps
(maybe there are more)

Ok. But you still haven't answered our question: Why don't you use full lines like everybody? Why do you insert linebreaks everywhere?
Or in german if you understand that better:
Wieso schreibst du pro Zeile nur ein paar Wörter und füllst die Zeilen nicht aus wie jeder andere hier. Dein "Stil" macht die Postings aussergewöhnlich schwer zu lesen!
