I thought I'd start an official thread for PCLP (Partyfish Content Library Plug-In, as I've named it ). You can read more about it in the General YPN Forum. Here's a summary of its intended use.
The Partyfish Content Library Plug-In will be a portal used to search for user submitted content such as tutorials, scripts, and almost anything else. It will run inside the Partyfish engine, and written in PHP and will probably use a bit of HTML.
Please note that it is only in the planning stages, so don't go replying with code snippets. If you'd like to volunteer for this project, just reply to this post.

I hate to say this, but I've already written a search engine for partyfish. It searches all the above mentioned plus news, mboard, and comments too. Of course, you're always welcome to make a better one (that shouldn't be too hard )

Well, there may be room to improve? I'd love it if we had somebody who is working on the search engine exclusively, since search engines are quite complex and hard to maintain besides the many other things PF has got.
From that aspect I'd love DInsane to help us a bit here, maybe by even maintaining the search engine of partyfish in general, and not only the Function Lib. That is, if he would like to do that

It's already written? I didn't know that. I could maintain it, but there wouldn't be much to maintain. BTW, you can call me Drew, it's easier than spitting out DInsane (Digitally Insane ).

ok, Drew then
then you may call me Dan or aomsething like that. Easier than my nick
nyways, the search engine for partyfish will be a quite complex entity as mentioned above. It will be a search engine which will work universally (so also for plugins and that stuff), so it could indeed need somebody who will focus on it a bit more. Not one working on the search thingy exclusively, but somebody who will maintain it
Anyways, the mail will be sent shortly

Ok, got it, and replied. Forget some of the stuff said in there, since I read the last few posts after I read the e-mail.
