Hey , everybody who wants to learn OpenGL , check this Online book
http://ask.ii.uib.no/ebt-bin/nph-dweb/dynaweb/SGI_Developer/OpenGL_PG/
I thought that it is pretty useful for beginners (like me) , so check it out if you're new to 3D Programming

The red book. That is like THE book for OpenGL information. So much to learn from it.

I also found this http://www.fatech.com/tech/opengl/glut/ to be a good source of information for GLUT. I don't know if that's what you use for your OpenGL window creation and event handling, but I'd suspect you do.

wow , thx =)
that was the only thing I was really missing , because everything except this glut stuff is covered in the book

OK guys , I'll make it official :

You guys won't have to read that ugly , boring and long book . I'll do that for you guys and put it all into tutorials for you , maybe one a month
Currently I'm working on the first tutorial , which will show you almost everything about the Basic 2D rendering stuff .
So , only read that book if you're REALLY bored

hm ... I'd love to do it if I got the time ... and , I personally don't really like NeHe ... the tutorials use "wiggle" funcs and are also too fixed on windows I think ... They could use GLUT for almost all those "wiggle" funcs , but they don't ... so you have to figure out that stuff yourself ... that sux ...
But , the ideas for the tuts are great =D
