In the "Backspace" in PC Magazine, CNN had an article about "How to block pop-ups" and lo-and-behold there was a popup. Pretty sad.

sacah: if you're computer literate, you probably realize that the ability of blocking popups doesn't depend on the OS of choice.
There are popups that are meant to be there.. I mean, other than commercials.

The colors are far to bright, plus Ive already got a bbs home. Kagez, you figured I was joking about linux not being able to block popups, I use mozilla, I say, dont allow popups unless its called from a link I click.
It works perfectly.
At least, its stuff ups were so unoticed.

I also block all pop-ups, but it still lollipops if there _are_ popups... ok, it will keep your browser busy, but I think it's a unfair way to advertise... you "force" the user to view it.... if you walk over the street, are there people who come and hold some random useless advertisement into your face? :/

Of course there are - billboards, store signs - they're all over the place.
Anyways - Jason's popups stay dead if you just minimize them... Cool site, Jason, but it didn't work right for me.
