What are the _Major_ differences in 8.1 and 8.2? I just installed 8.1, it crashed and I got 8.2 yesterday.

I've never installed 8.2, but I'd love to do so in the next few days Mdk was my first distro, and it's the only distro that I don't use, but which I'm curious about what they do.
btw, 8.1 also didn't work for me (I used beta2 tho....)

I installed 8.2 yesterday and it crashed during the install; like 3 times. Anyways I reinstalled 8.1 and it works fine. One other question: Does Linux read ntfs partitions?

yes, but for most distros you have to recompile the kernel with NTFS support. NTFS support in linux is somewhat incomplete, so you can only read (the writing function somehow doesn't work, even if enabled), and that as root. It's not really the best.... :/
