Hmmm... in my personal opinion those don't need to be sensored, but if they are, can't they be replaced with something that makes more sense in the actual post (even just "***")?

I was thinking like vowel removal censoring for example: s-ck, p-ss, f-ck, -ss, ect
And of course hope no one mistakes them as shell switches:P

in your personal opinion they don't need to be censored, but lemme tell you:
this place is called "Young Programmers Network", and it's called because young people are supposed to be here. So, kids who are like 8 years old are also belonging into this group, and we're not intended to teach them how to swear, but how to program.
That's why the filter has been setup. Actually there should be much more words filtered, but well...

I think I'm going to rewrite the filter for pf making it "smart" (looking for substituted characters, spacing, etc.). My bro would love to join, but my mom won't let him for the reason KaGez stated.

My question is why those words get sensored, and yet I saw someone post a slightly... less desirable word with no modification.
