A question about sasquatch2: It's gonna be possible to submit links to our links section. However, we were figuring links should be ordered by category. Now the question is, what categories are important to you guys?
Here are the ones I think should be there at min:
Basic/Visual Basic
C/C++
Assembly
Web-scripting
Linux
... and that's pretty much the categories we currently have up
Add to the list, please

Well I think that they should have maybe miscellaneous section, but I cant even spell it. LOL. Also, I think we should have a game developers link section. And a Exploit's link section. That would be pretty cool, but thats only my opinion, tell me what ya think.

I agree with rob about the categories, we need a little more detail but that is just my opinion.

Detail is good, but not _too_ many categories.

I think you should have checkboxes with the subcategories, so you can put one link into several categories without having to post the link several times.

We aren't programmersheaven.com, although we are the Young Programmer's Heaven . But that last suggestion was good, Robert. That way we can have subcategories without having to complicate.
We'll see how we'll fix it.

Everyhthing depends on how many links people will post. If we forget the link section after 2 days, when 10 links or something are posted, you won't need any subcategories.
If it's used frequently, with people posting new links all the time, you will need them.
And, btw, if you're lazy (or just can decide what subcategories you want), you can always let members create their own categories.

We will probably make the sections "upgradable", so that we don't have an innecessary multitude of functions, but we'll still be able to make the section satisfying for a high frequency of usage.
so that means, you're right

I also agree with robert ... but why don't you just let the users also make categories ? just a thought ...
