but how does that "Coder of the month" thing work ?? Just because nobody even reads your tuts you can't get coder of the month ?? I submitted 3 tuts this month , nobody even gave a shit about the 3rd one (NOBODY !!!) I don't really want to get it , but it just bothered me , cuz it says "2 outstanding PERL tuts ....."

Well, they (fabs & co) give that title to the one they think has deserved it most. Maybe KaGez is next =)

It's not that I want to get the "Coder of the month" ... who gives a shit about that ?? It is only that I was gettin really pissed , that nobody is even careing about my X tut ... it took me 2 hours to write it , and for 3 or more weeks , nobody rated it , even if I sayd so a thousand times in IRC .... sorry if you got me wrong .... I didn't want to say "Make me the 'Coder of the month!!' " os umthin
just got pissed about that tutorials thing .... sorry

I'm actually a little surprised that I'm coder of the month to tell you the truth. Beside those two Perl Tutorials, I haven't donea whole lot, where as others, like KaGez who seems to be much more involved than me, and Peter who coded most of this place. Don't get me wrong, I'm glad to have such an honor, but I don't think (personally) that I was the best choice this month.

well, peter fabs and me cannot be coder of the month...
and kagez, i think the reason why not many people read your tut is that most just have their X server running fine.
So let's wait for some newbies....

:lol I didn't realize that to be honest (that we go after the list). And yeah, the "crew" members won't be coder of the month.
KaGez, I am very interested in the X thing, also because I am going to install either Debian or Slack. I had Slackware installed for some time but I never got X working properly, so I dropped it. So here's my chance . I will read it carefully when I get home (and rate it).

Hey , just a little thought , but how about making a little section on the front page that shows the functions Sas2 will include , so that not everybody requests the same stuff over and over ??
