How long has Young Programmers Network been around? I know that when I first started programming I joined many communities, and this is by far the most active and best out there. Plus it's for young programmers. how great is that!

afaik the _YPN_ is about 1 year and some months old (maybe 4 or 3). Anyways, the YPN is the same project as YPR, and just changed the name to YPN after a while, I dunno how old the YPN is if you count the YPR years too tho

It's ancient - it was probably started before the beginning of time itself.
Ask fabs, our history keeper. He'll know the exact dates!

the ypr was started.. wait... must've been around christmas '99... i guess it was between the 20 and 29th of december...
of course i could be totally wrong but i guess that's about right... hmm.. incredible how fast time passes by...
