How long have you guys been programming in vb and how did you learn?

I've used VB once or twice at the age of 10.
You know what they say, "Real programmers don't code in BASIC. In fact, nobody above the age of 12 use BASIC."

Actually, when at school i find myself using basic when the connection's down and i cant just telnet out to somewhere with a compiler.
I'll assemble stuff with debug, paste it in as DATA statements, and call absolute

I've been programming VB since '99. I started diong Excel VBA. Then I got a "demo" version of VB for my birthday. Then last Christmas I got VB 6. I taught myself all the way. Mainly because I'm not old enough to go to formal classes. THis year I will be old enough to take some C lessons which will be fun. My programming journey has been short to say the least.

I have been programming in VB for two years, self-taught. I learned through the "Visual Basic Editor" that is built into MS Word. Nd for all you that don't program in VB or condemn anyone who uses it, why don't you just stay off threads like this?

Sorry, I couldn't resist.
It's VB I have something against, I've done a lot more BASIC (Asic and QBasic mostly) than VB. And by the way, I just hate VB, not you

Oh, that leads me to another thing, what BASIC compilers/intepreters do you people use?

Arrrgggg, my posts were deleted. Well if any of you did not see the posts, robost, I said that this thread is for VB and I did note in the post, 'How long have you guys been programming in VB?' So, if you want to dis VB or anyone that programs in VB, move it to a different thread.
