I have been to many websites that use frames and I was wondering what everyone here thought on using frames with a website. I personally hate frames and would never use them in my website (if i had one).

Hating frames seems to be quite hip among webmasters . it's usually associated to quite newb webmasters..
I don't think frames is such an awful thing, but I don't use it.. it feels better with tables somehow - plus with PHP includes who needs frames? frames makes it harder to create interactive/dynamic websites.

Frames are for peoples who can't use tables

hehe, good
but for some things (not for the public) frames can be of use. For example as you see it in phpmyadmin. It'd have to lead the list of databases and the list of tables inside a db everytime, which will get sort of inefficient but, for the public I think frames are no good.

When I started HTML programming I used frames all the time. But lately I've been moving away from frames. The YPN.net is one of the first major things I've done without frames.

I think you looked at it. The thing you said was incomplete. I'm writing it in ASP so I attached the .NET to it. Just so you know I am not starting my own. For me that would be a sacrelige. I LOVE THE YPN.
