I'v been looking around for a Fortran IDE, does any one know of any for Linux [Slackware, KDE/GTK]? Iv seen Code Forge, but only the comm version has Fortran support. Does Emacs have Fortran support? ThanX!

I'm not too sure, but doesn't anjuta support fortan too? you could have a look at it, since it's a very good program, and if it supports fortan too, you should 100%ly use it

Isn't Fortran a good maths language? Some people seem to hate it, while others, well, rather like it. I never worked with it before, but I thought I'd try it out.
I'm not sure if Anjuta has Fortran support or not, it said C/C++ but it could have support for others. I got it as well as several other IDEs [IDEtify, SNiFF, DevCPP, RHIDE], I plan to just try them all.

Anjuta also has support for CSS, HTML, PHP, XML and more afaik. I'm not sure what else is available in it.

Not really, compared to most modern languages. However, it was consider to be in the 50's and 60's because the other option was was usually assembly language
Have fun!

Fortran is used today, because it was used yestrday. It was used yesterday, because it was used the day before, and so on. Stay away from it.
