I'd be quite interested in a flash creator/editor for linux. I couldn't find anything about an official version at Macromedia's website, but I found something here: http://www.linuxcentral.com/catalog/index.php3?prod_code=F000-001&id=vUDgmyx05nTjs
I tried finding something on freshmeat, and there were some libraries/functions, but no real environment, it seemed. Am I wrong?

They ported the stupid thing to MacOS so they should with linux too, they should have done linux first anyway.

afaik linux has no good flash editors. esp. free ones....
