Yes, I'm considering buying one of those...
Now, they are really expensive and it's just an idea... Do you know any that work perfectly in Linux?

he he, "my" agfa cl-18 is supposed to work with gphoto but I never managed.

I had pretty much the same problem as Peter, with a kodak dc-400.....

maybe you should inform yourself about those so called "success stories" before buying one if ther're so expensive
