I came accross a couple of game-programming-libraries for Linux and now I'll just have to pick one:
ClanLib
GGI
SDL
Now, I got this info from a book and it's already a bit older. Has there been anything revolutionary in Linux-gaming since? Any newer, better library?

Uh, well, I guess there still is MESA. It's not really a game progging lib, but a sort of OpenGL implemenattion, i think... not sure about that, tho.

One thing , Mesa sux ... better get a Graphics Card that has native OpenGL support ... The one and only reason for this is :
Mesa is to slow !
But another cool thing could be GLUT together with OpenGL I'm now learning it , and it looks cool
