Does anybody out there even know about DarkBASIC??? If you don't, CHECK IT OUT at www.darkbasic.com! If you want to see what kinds of games it can make, you can go to the gallery there and click on a picture. My personal favorites are Limit Rush and Hover Racer. Hover Racer is being turned into a full game, so get the preview!

DarkBASIC looks interesting, but I'll do things manually in VB, more fun writing your own routines .
I don't watch Invader Zim (used to but lost interest). I prefer SpongeBob . By the way, welcome

I think you might have been looking at The 3D Gamemaker instead of Darkbasic. BIG DIFFERENCE!!! In The 3D Gamemaker all you do is click and stuff, in DarkBASIC you actually program!!!

I know, but I still like writing my own algorithms and functions, not having them predone for you (more customization that way). No, there is no way of getting a free version of VB, unless you obtain it illegaly. eBay is probably your best bet for a reasonably priced version.
