This is an example
So is this
I think it's essentially HTML tages between brackets. At least that's what I did

BBCode is basically a branch off of HTML used for message boards. It is just like HTML, only it is in between these brackets: [ and ]. For example: [b]This text in here will be bold[/b]

[glow]This text will glow (this tag is pretty much extinct in the latest versions of message boards, so forget it's even here )[/glow]

[i]This text is italicized[/i]

[center]This text would be centered[/center]

Of course, there are some rules and exceptions for certain tags, but let's forget that too .

Dx, do you remember the topic about free web space @ freewebs.com? If you do, I just found out something about it. It won't let you use forms. [addsig]

That's stupid [addsig]

That's odd. But could be b/c you need CGI support or something...
Posted by dxprog on 02:20:00 08-19-2003
That could be. I took it to mean you couldn't use <form>, <input>, and <select>

updating phpBB is quite a pain, so this one is still a old version. Live with it or... or... just live with it!
