Well, it tired best i could. i looked at select manaul page, at poll page. and i wasn't able to use them properly. now i wonder, had anyone of you tried to do lollipop thing in C. if anyone could point my to example.....

Generally, a server-socket can take more than 1 connection and act on them. I suggest you checkedout Beejs Guide, it's pretty much standard for c-socket programming:

I did the mistake to just listen to one socket at a time in a program, that program took like 99% of my CPU power
