Does anyone know if I can get C++ bilder 4 free??? And if U have AIM...IM me sometime...I'd like to talk to U...lol.C'ya.

No. C++ Builder 4 is not free. It's a commercial software but no longer available from Borland.

you could also get kylix. It's from borland, and there is a free edition afaik.

Yes. I think there is a Personnal Edition of C++ Builder available frorm Borland site.

And BTW, C++ Builder is nothing like Dev-C++. The later is a good IDE, but it's not a RAD tool like Borland C++ Builder.

on linux you could use the free anjuta, which comes with everything you need

Like I said elsewhere, C++ Builder is much more than a simple IDE!

Apparently, I'm one of the few in TPU and YPN that has worked with Borland's tools, being C++ Builder or Delphi. C++ Builder is, in fact, a RAD for C++ using the exact same object library than Delphi. Borland made an awesome job on this software. You have to use it to actually know what it's all about.
