crion: you will find some good tutorials @ tigert.gimp.org, for GIMP tho... since GIMP is very simmilar to PS you should be able to gather information out of it, since almost everything that works in GIMP also works in PS
there are still loads of sites with GIMP tuts out there, I'll give em to you when you told us if you can get along with GIMP tuts or not

i didnt like the gimp tutorials for PS, but now im i linux. And they are real good gimp tutorials.
