I don't think so. Sasquatch doesn't have such a feature, and afaik phpBB also doesn't have.
We should maybe implement a function into sasq like "I lost my pass" ...

Where's the problem of changing a username? You surely have them in an table with some primary key like an ID number, so that you would only have to change the name in the db and everything would work fine. [addsig]

Yeah, that'd work, but we can't delete his old username now. In that case, all the posts he made with the old username would loose their owner (resulting in database error). We will instead implement a "hidden user" function for those who left the community and those who created multiple accounts.

why do you guys always want such insane stuff? why can't you just stick with one username? maybe you could tell us the problem. That would be great

i think, for what mintegra wants, a little merge script would do the job. just delete the old user, change the join date, and change the poster of the posts by jgrant to mintegra...

I agree with KaGez that ppl should identify with one Nick. It just makes life a lot easier if everybody knows you by _one_ name.

as of now it is tied and dependant on sasquatch, but we're still not done with it, so it may change
