I've had a idea about the news module for sasq3. I'm certain that I'm probably not the first one with this, but would it be possible to add categories to news? Maybe that you have a small picture coming along with the news or something like that... maybe phpNuke has this... I'll take a look at phpNuke ...

You mean like the categories and logos in /.? Yeah, that would be nice and I don't see any difficulty in realizing this idea.
As far as I see this, we only have to add one col to the news table in the db and to create/find some nice logos.

yeah, looks like /. also uses that. I think we should also create a new table in the db called "news_categories", which holds all the categories and their image etc. Btw, phpNuke also includes this, just checked it out. So it looks like it's nothing too new, but it's useful in my opinion
