I just though about the forums... the "General YPN" forum is filled of mixed posts, maybe it would be a good idea to slit it up in several forums like "Announcements", "Suggestions" and "Unprovoced attacks on site admins" (correct, that was a joke). Well, seriously, the General YPN and Projects forum maybe could be split up. Projects forum could be split up into "Ideas & crazy suggestions" and one sub-forum for each "big" project in the projects section (which fabs (or maybe it was Peter, don't remember) told me it isn't that far from being completed).

This is a matter of taste though, tell me what you tink, a few general forums, or many specialized ones.

I agree with the splitting of the Projects Forum as well as the General YPN Forum, just as outlined by robost86.

I agree with dividing the general seciont, but not the projects section. Why would you want to split the projects section? then you could split every section. You could also split the C/C++ section into "useful programs" and "useless programs" for example. Not really those names, but you get what I mean?

In my opinion it would be much more important to split the sections like C/C++. Right now I have to scroll down some screens in order to see the last code-snippet...At least it could be seperated into three subsections, like "Tutorials", "Programs", "Code snippets". [addsig]

what's wrong with having to scroll? beats having to load a whole new page.

Don't have any problem with loading new pages...ADSL does it faster than I can scroll [addsig]

Im sweet with how it is now, though if you change it I will be sweet with that too.

I think we were talking about the forums... anyways, it could be also done to maybe split up every "section-where-you-submit-stuff-to" section by category, and put a menu on top like the new one in the members list.
