So our tale of love and romance comes to a crashing conclusion... literally. Actually, this was the idea that inspired the whole idea in the first place.
It should be duly noted that Master Chief's real name is in fact John (or John-117). In the original comic it was just Chief, but at the prompting of a friend of mine it was changed to John. I figured he ought to know as he's finished both games and read the books (whereas I'm not even halfway through the first game. I just play multiplayer all the time).
I was thinking about having a Cortana episode where she's jealous and such, but drawing Master Chief is kind of a bitch (as you probably have figured out) so I'm wrapping it up here.
I decided that "The Plagiarist" will be a reccurring series instead of blowing the whole thing at once. This'll allow me to do many more comics.
Today's subject, however, is something that has been peeving my off quite a bit lately. Idiots just don't know how to swipe their credit cards and, for that matter, just expect you to spoonfeed them the answers to everything. Little do they realize that soon the only smart people left will be cashiers and we will rise up and take over the earth!!!
I seem to use "yay!" a lot in my titles. Oh well, yay!
As the title suggest, however, I have made another video. It's mainly just a fancy edit job of an otherwise fairly boring, yet monumental, event. Enjoy!
Okay, so I cheated a little on this one. However, in my defense, I'm winding up a 6 day run at work with no break in between so what free time I have had I've spent doing other stuff. I promise that Friday's will be a good one (it's the one with the "complex" artwork I mentioned earlier).
I don't think I ever mentioned it in the blog, but I got a new cell phone. Of course, since it isn't really optional anymore my camera has a phone on it. That said I've been having a little bit of fun with the thing and posting them to my flickr account. I'm sure you don't want to have to go to another site to see more of my crap so I made it easy and put a little flickr thingy on the right side below the archives. Enjoy :-)
I am actually a fairly large fan of Peanuts (at least, pre-80s Peanuts). However, one thing that drove me insane was that Charlie Brown never stood up for himself. He allowed his life to be a constant joke to everybody and everything around him. He should've taken Plankton's advice and asserted himself as he does here.
Interesting side note, there's currently a manager at Wal-Mart whose name is Charlie Brown (seriously, what were those parents thinking :-P).
The page has been blank lately due to some sad coding on my part. I'll get it changed around at some point :-P.
Tomorrow's comic will probably be a little late (possibly into Saturday morning) because of the complexity of the artwork. I have it currently about half drawn, so I'll probably doodle out the rest tonight and get it colored and junk tomorrow. So, sorry about that. Stay tuned.
